-
Some things are easier to quantify than others. E.g. time, money.
-
Some people use their "gut" to think about things which can be quantified. Some are even very good at this.
-
Conversely, there's a type of person who always tries to quantify things which it is not beneficial (or accurate) to quantify.
-
There's a difference between people who do each of these things intentionally and people who don't know the difference.
-
Imagine a Grid
-

-
An overly computing person thinks about everything as a quantifiable thing.
-

-
An overly feeling person interprets even things which it is both beneficial and accurate to measure, through the lens of how they feel.
-

-
This is nowhere near an exact science. There are many things that fall on the line between qualitative and quantitative. The grid is meant to be a personal thinking guide/visual that your brain can easily store and recall, not a sign to tap or stick to hit others with.
